Setting up the platform
Being GDPR compliant
Once your category has been created, you can add tags. These tags will be suggested to users at the moment of tagging content they are sharing.
Go to 'Tags' tabs in the administration interface. There you can:
- add one or more tags
- establish synonymous tags
- search for a tag, namely by specifying which category you want to search
- sort the tags according to the various available columns
- modify, merge or delete the tag
Adding a tag
Define its name, possibly its translation and its category.
Adding several tags
List the set of tags you want to add, while specifying the category.
Users who have the right to tag are able to personally create new tags, at the moment they proceed to sharing or in retrospect. At creation the tool allows for selection of the category in which they want to add this tag. For the purpose of managing tags we therefore advise to limit the categories to guide the creation of tags to the category of orphan tags, called 'Other tags'. The administrator or system coordinator will then be encouraged to perform tag gardening among the created tags.
